SAHARA
OVERVIEW
food waste is one of the most pressing environmental challenges: every year, millions of tons of food are thrown away, causing enormous waste of water, energy, and natural resources. Over half of this waste comes from households, where food that is still edible ends up in the trash. A lack of time and adequate tools makes reuse difficult, turning a potential resource into a growing environmental problem

HOW IT'S MADE
the body is divided into two main parts: the upper part contains the mold and is accessible through the retractable handle, while the base contains the electrical components and has the interface. All the commands are enclosed here, with a rotor around an lcd screen that allows to set and read. On the body there are also light spots that give information about the state of the process

HOW IT WORKS
it works in a simple way: pulp and peel are blended, poured into a mold, and subjected to a vacuum drying process that produces solid, safe packaging in less than an hour. Each container takes on different aromas and flavors depending on the ingredients used, becoming an integral part of the meal itself
